During the biennial legislative sessions the ACLU is on high alert. We work, often behind the scenes, to amend or kill legislation that threatens our rights and introduce or help pass legislation that protects our rights. We attend committee meetings and work with legislators, the executive branch, state agencies, other civil rights groups and more to protect and promote the rights of those who make Arkansas their home.
